If I were to get a scout squad, that had 9 snipers and one heavy bolter, what products would I need to buy?
The easy and expensive way to go about it would be to get 2 of the Scout Snipers kit, and then 1 box of non-Sniper Scouts (For the heavy bolter.).
Alternatively, you could get the 2 boxes of Scout Snipers and order a Heavy Bolter off of a bits site, or do what I did and use a spare Predator Heavy Bolter sponson!
Space Marines: W15/L7/D3
Imperial Guard: W6/L4/D0
I'll probably get the three boxes. The rest can go the eBay. But if I find something, I'll use it. I'll get the scout portion of my army last.
you could even use the rest for conversions, like modelling bases or something XD
You could at least make one additional Sniper Scout (per Sniper box), as the one with the Missile Launcher most probably don't have a camo cloak on it if you didn't modded him.
So you have the option to not take a heavy weapon if you wanted to and still have 10 snipers with camo cloaks.
I took 2 Sniper and 2 normal Scout boxes. I made 2 Scout Sergeants with Sniper Rifles, 8 Sniper Scouts, 2 Scouts with Missile Launcher, 2 Scouts with Heavy Bolter, 1 Sergeant and 4 Scouts with Bolter or Bolt Pistol/CCW or Shotgun (magnetized ... hell that's a lot of magnets per scout). I have still one body left ... dunno, probably use it for modding.
(The small 5-man-scout-squad is for a footslogging Scout squad from a Land Speeder Storm, but I don't like them ... they are just there to make use of the scout bodies)

Also could always ask another marine player if he has an extra one for trade, I don't know about your area but every gaming shop I have been in at least 50% of the players own some form of marine army and people always seem to be willing to trade bits for bits.
