Which variant is best and which one is the best?
valkyrie, demolisher, manticore

which is the best for anti-horde? and if you thought about, if your facing large squads of any kind of hordes, would you outflank a valkyrie, pop the transport with a vendetta and valkyrie it or russ it or demolisher the squad that ahs jsut popped out?
plus would you trust two squads of melta vets and a squad of plasma vets for anti-mc? ignoring the fact that you can use vendettas as well?
Nothing busts hordes like the Eradicator and Hellhound.
Demolisher/Demolisher/Eradicator/Hellhound/Hellhound/Banewolf for me. But that's just because Valkyries and Vendettas don't fit into my theme.
As for the choices you gave, I'd go Russ/Russ/Valkyrie (instead of demolisher/demolisher/Valkyrie) for pure anti-horde.

Nothing busts hordes like a lascannon squad.
i thought about manticore, but it's easy pickings no matter where i put it. and it will be out of line of sight, making me pick a weaker russ, because it will be targetted first and the manticore will be outflanked till it dies.
I can't risk offering such an easy kill point to the enemy like that. So i went for the hardcore russ. but that still won't stop me fielding a manticore in friendly games.... ^^.
I like the demolisher because it lets me kill nob equivalanets on bikes. something that my army sadly lacks. even with the many meltas, plasma and lascannons.
please answear my question? i know the word manticore is very holy to the guard and i prize the tank as much as you!
I won't something that can shoot literally every turn though stradius and is tough to kill.
For me the hardest choice is between these two.
russ/russ/valkyrie ( for long range fire power )
russ/demolisher/valkryie ( to hurt crazy T5 squads and to other more AP firepower ) this tactic is abit more short ranged and my normal russ will get short second, because the demolisher is more of a threat. So the enemy doesn't have the choice of which russ to shoot from the 1 choice of 2 russes and a valkyrie ^^.

Vulture w/4 Multiple Rocket Pods. My new favorite. For 155 pts you can move the full 12" and still drop 4 AP6 large blast templates per turn.
Yes, but that's forgeworld though. Although it is quite cheap and nasty for what it does.
3x Griffons. It's 225pts has 3 Large pie plates that splatters anything that isn't MEQ. You get to re-roll the Scatter dice and they still count as Barrage so get all those cool rules that that brings.
3 Griffons sopported by 2 Demolishers is a pretty balanced Heavy support that can cope with just about anything that gets thrown at them.
