In a normal 40K game I can set up an entire platoon all at once as a single troops choice, everyone knows that.
But the DoW mission says that I set up "two units from his troops selection and up to one unit from his HQ selection".
Am I to take it as read that means I can only set up invidual units and not entire Troop selections? (so twenty guardsmen and HQ rather then say 100 guardsmen and a HQ)
The game is tomorrow and we'd like to know!
This is the case. However, its also perfectly legal to combine your infantry squads and deploy them like that, potentially giving you 100 guardsmen and an HQ on the field anyway. (Incidentally, transports count as a unit). If your mech, you can just leave everything off the field and have it roll on first turn.
But yeah, its units, not choices.
