Welcome to Librarium Online!
Hi all, so assuming noone ever read my intro topic ima go ahead and introduce myself again. Im Andrew (Fonz) and Ive played warhammer 40k since 4th or 5th grade and im now a sophmore in college. I play with a group of good friends at a local GW that like 10 mins from my house. I play The Soul Drinkers Second Grand Company. I know I know everyones like wtf are u talking about kid. I call this army from the pre Sarpedon era so its between when the Soul Drinkers were created (second founding) and when the Chapter War that happens in the 41st millennium. So I name every hero, squad leader, and vehicle. Kinda makes it fun Ive been slackin lately on painting but here are a bunch of my squads or what i have painted. nothing is fully complete but gettin damn close. Enjoy!
PS- sry for the quality computers going haywire. Ill get better ones up tommorow.
and more again
and they keep coming.....

since no one has replied im going to, interesting paint scheme and a ok paint job on the models (keep going!)
paint job looks good close to what it should be makes a change not to see rush job conversions of sarpeodon
You play the Soul Drinkers? Here, have some rep!
You get more if you can present us with Sarpedon post-transformation =3
Good serie of books, by the way.
Thanks for the replies everyone, the army is getting bigger, just picked up 5 models to convert into more sternguard. Also converted an old assault marine into a new captain that looks pretty stellar. I will convert a sarpedon one day, once my greenstuff skills are a little better. Once i finish the whole army ill post pics!
Hey there man, welcome to LO!
I haven't seen a Soul Drinkers army before, the purple, gold and bone is very striking. Good work!
If I may offer some constructive criticsm, have a shot at painting the eyes. They add a whole lot of personality to each model. Personally, I hate painting eyes and always leave it till last! (And then about 5 attempts later thats one model's eyes done ).
Keep at it!
I like your work
Definitely a cool color combination. Look into grabbing a wash for those bone-colored areas to bring out the detail a little bit more.
Also, I've always considered the Soul Drinkers as a really fast, in your face army. More Assault squads and drop pods all around! (for when you get to that)
First time I'd seen anyone do a Soul Drinker force.
It's snazzy too!
You get reppy
Thanks again guys, as far as the bone goes it does have a wash on it. Im sure the crappy quality of the pics doesnt give it justice. i used bleached bone, and washed it with gryphone sepia to give it that darker bone look. Ill get up better pics on my photobucket soon and just post links.
PS. again none of the models are completely painted yet. Also some of the eyes are painted but with red gore, so it might be hard to tell in some of the pics.
