Can anyone please direct me to a guide on how to magnetize an LRC/LRR? I've found one, but it has some blank areas.
I recently built a magnetized LRC, it's still unpainted so I can take some pics of it. You just have to wait some hours 'til I get home from work though
What I can say already is, that a coin (for me the optimal is a 5 cent (euro cent) coin) is perfect to glue under the holes where e.g. Storm Bolters, Hunterkiller Missiles, Sergeants, Multi-Melta, ... is usually held. Take copper coins, as they are a magnetic material, so you only need one magnet on the bulkhead(s) and it will stick
rather than gluing money down on it, i would get some washers instead
It;s not that hard really. Just pin the magnets where you'd normally glue. Depending on the type you bought you may need a few to hold it on strong.
Pinning is really easy, just make sure when you glue the first magnet in, you have the second magnet facing the right way before it's glued. Good luck.

Here's my recently finished (with modelling) LRC. I still have to greenstuff sth. on the back and do the remaining 2 doors.
All you need is:
a) a hand drill with drills of the correct sizes (for your magnets)
(d) greenstuff could help)
The pictures were good, but I was specifically looking for pictures around the weapon sponsons. And a guide would be helpful.
I just drilled 4x 3mm holes into the side frame of the tank, then stuffed them with 3mm magnets, then put (not glued) another 3(x1)mm magnets onto the glued-in-magnets, put some glue on top of them so I could glue on the sponson. Then I just put the sponson in (it fits pretty well and it got contact with the magnets with glue on it), waited some time and put out the sponson with the magnets.
This way, the magnets on the sponson were only half glued on the plastic, so I had to put a little greenstuff under them so they don't break off sometime.
I drawed a little instruction :p
This works with magnets that are 1mm high.
/Edit: I didn't magnetize the weapons on the sponson itself (I've only done that on my predator)
