Maybe I'm just looking in the wrong places, but can someone post a link to pics of the sprues and/or components of the new snap-fit guardsmen?

Why? I haven't seen them but i'm assuming it's a two piece slot on gun with hands onto torso. why on earth do you need pics?

What snap-fit guardsmen? I haven't heard about this.

Probably referring to the 4 or 5 man squad boxes you can pick up at a GW store.
Imperial Guard Cadians (5 models) | Games Workshop
-Close up of detailing (without professional paint job) for comparison to existing cadians.
-Assuming the push on part is forearms and weapon, finding out if that part attaches at the arms (good for customizing potential) or at the chest (bad for customizing potential)
-Seeing if there are any separate components besides forearm/weapon section and body
-Closer view of neck area to see if it's possible to remove head neatly to attach the Pig Iron heads that I prefer.
Obviously most of my issues revolve around customizing. Clearly these aren't intended for that in the way the multipart kits are. However, I'm cheap and I've gotten good results from customizing some one and two piece models in the past (LT Varras as IG commander...) so I'm curious about the potential for customizing these with the mountain of IG bits that I've acquired.
Anyone got pics....
If its the eldar one, good luck on the customization. I bought a bunch so I can convert to storm guardians (to run 20 total), and found out that, alas, no, they're niegh impossible to convert. So now I run 10 Storm Guardians and *gasp* 12 regular guardians.
I'm afraid you're not in luck, they attach at both the right shoulder AND on the torso (which is VERY difficult to cover up as the gun hides a HUUUUGE welt) as well as at the left hand holding the gun. Heads are difficult but not impossible to take off. Detailling is pretty good, I can stand them next to kit cadians and you can't really tell the difference. There are one or 2 dodgy areas (eg. where the gun joins the arm and the water cantten doesn't have a rounded back) but nothing major.
If you have holes in your ranks of imperial guard then snap fit guys are cheaper than normal guys, take no time to build, and if you paint them right you can not tell the difference from a meter away.
They are made for newbies who want something cheap(er) to paint, so your can't expect them to be very customisable.
In your estimation, would a weapons swap be in any way viable if the weapons were across the chest. I've plenty of multi-part IG for that purpose, but it'd be nice to know. With the 4th Edition Macraage SM's I was able to mod flamers into plasma's and I wonder if a similar solution is possible here.
Sounds like 20 or so of these guys would be usefull for bulking out the ranks, but not much use beyond that, and clearly the're not good candidates for special, heavy, and Seargent conversions. My most pressing issue is the feasibility of the head swap.
Anyone want to snap a pic for me?
