Just want to double check something, so I don't end up looking like an idiot later.
On the SW sprue, you can make Grey Hunters hold a bolter in one hand, and a chainsword in the other. Now the question is, do they have "true grit" or something like it?
I can't justify why I have pieces like this, as Grey Hunters only have 1 attack, and there is nothing in their entry stating they fight like this.
Is there a rule, or is such pieces just for show?
As I said before, I just want to make sure of this.
Thanks in advance.
They do not have True Grit anymore.
They don't need it, as they come with BP/CC weapon which gives them an extra +1A while in CC. You are welcome to model them with a bolter in one hand and a chainsword in the other, it's rather wolfy.
Don't bother having anything more than meaningless small talk on this forum, the moderators won't allow it
When they gave BP/CCW to plague marines instead of true grit from the old codex people started refering to it as ultra grit.
True grit = 2 attacks on the charge and 2 at other times.
Ultra grit = 3 attacks on the charge and 2 at other times. In addition you can fire the pistol as you charge.

If you take a look of the rule book True Grit is gone and is slowly being fazed out of the armies, i think Grey Knights must be 1 of the last with it.

Suffer not the works of the C'Tan
Surely they will be the last ones to keep true grit... it's been ages since their last update and they seem to be nowhere in the update queue either :p
Them and my Deathwatch team. Kinda makes me sad, really. :/
If memory serves, the Grey Hunters have a Bolt Pistol, Bolter and CCW - if this is the case then they will function similarly to True Grit, only better. (Again this hinges on all three pieces being present) If they have all three, they'll get two attacks all the time but also get an extra attack on the charge.
