Would like to know what my wolf guard is better off having, melta bombs or chainfists?
In the codex, it has a list stating "All models may have the following", which lists the melta bombs.
Can wolf guard, in terminator armor, have melta bombs? It doesn't say otherwise in its section, but I don't think models in terminator armor could carry any type of grenade.
Thanks in advance.

There's no hard-and-fast rule saying that terminators cannot take grenades. It's simply the case that Terminators, at least in the SM codex, do not have grenades.
It depends on the exact wording of the unit's entry in the SW rulebook. The vanilla codex makes it impossible because the only way to get terminator armour on a model is to replace your existing equipment, including grenades. It may well be the case in the SW codex that a model may be simultaneously equipped with both, if the entry is liberally worded.
On that note, we can compare chainfists and meltabombs quite easily. Meltabombs allow you one attack in the assault phase, at S8 with 2d6 armour penetration, following the normal rules for striking vehicles in close combat. Chainfists allow multiple attacks in the assault phase, at the same strength and with the same bonus. Barring comparative costs, it should be readily apparent which is superior.

If they're in power armour... Termie Armour and a Chainfist, for the above reason >_<Like poodle says, I don't think it's the case that they CAN'T, it's more that they DON'T because of the way wargear works. I certainly can't find anything in the SW Codex or the BRB that would prevent a model in Termie armour taking Meltabombs; as far as I can see the only wargear items specifically barred to Terminator models are Bikes and Jump Packs. Can wolf guard, in terminator armor, have melta bombs? All that said, Chainfists are better. Far more expensive too, but worth it.
never mind the fact that the chainfist has multiple attacks versus vehicles, against walker vehicles there is also another very important difference
- that one attack with the meltabombs only hits walkers on rolls of 6
- chainfist attacks hit walkers by comparative weapon skill (usually on rolls of 4+)(and if in some extenuating circumstance you're fighting a walker with unnaturally high weapon skill or yours has been reduced, the worst you will ever hit is 5+... still better than the 6 with that single meltabomb)

+1 for all the reasons above
And an additional point in favor of CF: Chainfists look AWESOME
You should really only be putting meltabombs on something if you have 5 points left and you REALLY don't know what to do with it.
Or if you <3 wolf scout tankthumpers
