hey guys i got a question, i have a chapter based on dark angels, and i wondered if this is a good custom rule:
you know how that if u have a veteran seargent, then your whole squad gets stubborn, but if the veteran sergeant dies, then ur whole squad doesnt have stubborn.
im saying that if u pay 3 points per each space marine, then each space marine will have stubborn, would this rule be good???
also, then u wouldnt have to get a veteran sergeant......
Except for the odd circumstance, your vet. Sgt should be the last man in your squad to die. And with the new 4the ed rules almost on the shelves. The whole question may be mote.
To be honest. Dont think much of the rule though. That opens the way for a lot of contriversal stuff. Such as "If I'm willing to pay x points for each member in my squad to have x then I should be able to buy it"
Certain abilities and items are limited for a reason, and while I am one of the last to adhere strictly to the rules, I do believe that in some cases, adherence is necessary.
