Hello, I am building a mech SW army and i was hoping to include a few dreads. Can someone tell me what weapons come in the games workshop dreadnought box? I want to know if i can made a dread with twin autocannons.
This might have changed since the last time I picked up a dread (EOT Campaign), but as of then you got parts for an Assault Cannon or TL Lascannon on the right, and a DCCW or Missile Launcher on the left. I'm fairly certain they haven't redone the kit at all since then, so it looks like you're in for some converting.
Veni Vidi Variant
I came, I saw, I got a different type of Leman Russ.

Rules for grenades are on page 72 of the rulebook.
I'm not sure what is in the current box. But you can always go to Forgeworld and order the autocannon arms. They are 7 pounds each. (I would also suggest the Mark IV dred. Its an awesome model, espciially with the inferno cannon and assault drill.)
The current box contains what sithjack has mentioned. TLLC, AC right arm, DCCW and Dread ML system for the left arm. Both DCCW underslung weapons are also in the box, the Hvy Flamer and the Storm Bolter.
I have found autocannon bits from eBay from some IG resources. I'm planning on fashioning them together somehow, if I get something done that looks nice, I'll post some pics in the modeling forum.
The kits for the chaos dreadnought, and the chaos defiler, do.
Not the SM dreadnought kit.
You could also check out Forge World, or build your own with the autocannons from the IG and predator kits.
