Bastion Breacher Shells
Enclosed Crew Compartment
I hate Medusas. They suck.
So, do you guys use Medusas much? Are they as effective as it is said or are they far too fragile? The poll speaks for itself.

So sorry about that. I meant to, but..... I got distracted! *Shot by commissar for false speech*
I would only take a Medusa with bastion breacher shells. If you plan to take a standard Medusa, I think paying 30 more points for a demolisher tank with far stronger armor and closed-topped is a better choice in general. Even though the Medusa has a 12 inch longer range, thats still just 36", quite mid-ranged. It is still going to be taking hits so I prefer the durability. But equipping it with bastion breachers makes it a totally different weapon with long range that shoots at completely different targets.

I personally just go for the closed crew comp. I never like taking a +1 on the dmg table.
I also like the plain demolisher big plate. I like the extra 12" it gives over the heavy tank, but that's just me.

I'm not a fan of the medusa. Demolisher Cannons (and their equivalents) are very high priority targets, so I only put them on the Leman Russ. With the basilisks, my favorite is the griffon, which gives you the most bang for the buck. The colossus and manticore are also good.
