    Selling my army question

(sorry if this is in the wrong area...i havent been on here in a long time)

I dont have time or money and lost interest in playing. I played during 3rd edition rules and have been out of it so long i dont know the value of the stuff anymore.

A friend wants to buy the army but doesnt want to rip me off, and i dont know the value so i dont want to ask too high. So my question is, about how much should I be asking for everything. The army was painted when i was in high school and will probably need to be stripped and repainted so I am taking that into consideration that my friend will have to go through some effort for these.

    here is my army list:

    1x Librarian
    1x command squad w/ rhino
    -techmarine
    -standard bearer
-"hero" generic guy with double bolter and sword (not chainsword)
    -apathocary
    -commander guy with single bolter

    2x tactical squads (1 w/ rhino)
-both have 10 guys, 1 is a standard bearer, 1 with flamethrower, 1 w/ missile launcher

    10 scouts

    1 landspeeder typhoon

    1 assault squad
-5 guys with jump packs, 1 with a plasma rifle

    1 heavy support squad
-lascannon, missile launcher, standard bearer, heavy bolter, plasma cannon

I also have a assault on black reach set that is essentially brand new...I only assembled like 4 guys from the whole set.

I was going to ask $200 for everything...is that too low? I remember spending alot on this stuff when i was buying it and really besides needing to be stripped...everything is in really good condition

    Thanks!

Stuff is only worth what it sells for. Lesson I learnt along time ago.

Stick it on ebay and see what you get for it.

I'd say if you want a ballpark of what it is worth, go onto the GW website and price out everything that you can (or approximate what you can't find). You might get up to 50% of the price if you sell it on ebay, maybe. You can probably use that as a guide for how much to sell it to your friend (maybe 40-45%?). Realize that you save a lot of shipping/ebay hassle by selling it to your friend. Plus you know who you are selling it to. Thats my 2 cents.

Typically you'll get around 50% (for an army like that) GW value, but if it's to a friend you should consider going a little lower (depending entirely on how good a friend it is!).

I buy a lot on ebay and working out what your units are worth (includint the fact that some of your things you have i have bought of ebay myself) I would say it is work about £67 (again thats based on standard units that you could paint, not bad painting but nothing mindblowing.

And then maybe another £30 for the AoBR box

So for all of it i would say you would get about £100 on ebay at best.

Add onto that some money for paint brushes, dice, templates, paints etc

Apoc games (mixture of armies used): W5-D0-L1

Exchange rate is currently 1.66, so 100 pounds = $166. But I believe the pound to dollar ratio for GW products aren't exactly even I believe.
