    Heavy weapons

has anybody thought of a decent modelling solution for using the extra heavy weapons provided in the heavy weapons squads and platoon boxed sets? im trying to think of a way because it seems a bit stupid to waste all of those lovely heavy weapons...

Missile Launcher needs no stand, it can be shoulder-mounted. Similarly, instead of a stand for a swivel gun (Autocannon, Heavy Bolter, Lascannon) you could use the sandbags.

GW also sell large round bases in packs. Get a few of them.

the only problem i encountered when trying this was getting the models to actually hold the tube of the missile launcher

Bipod for mortar, launcher shouldered and tripod and sandbags for the rest.

edit: I tried to make a photo of my launcher, but the light´s too bad. I hope you can see enough...
The next team will already be in firing position.
