I don't know what box set that is off the top of my head, but judging by the cover art I'd say it's probably older, and hence should be cheaper.
Don't take my word on it, though.. I'm not the expert.
I've recently become a fan of this thing called Dubstep. And you should too.

That's the 3rd edition box set. (We're on 5th edition) If it is a complete set, it has... (reading from the back of my old box...)
10 Space Marine, 1 Space Marine Land Speeder, 20 Dark Eldar Warriors, Rulebook (outdated), 2 Quick Rules Cards, 2 Building Ruins, 3 Templates, 7 Dice, 2 Red Rulers (make great cat toys. thats about all) 4 Jungle Trees, and 2 barricades and some barrels.
Getting this won't get you too far. If it's cheap and complete I'd pick it up (~$20-30), but that would only be for the couple models and the terrain. The rules won't get you anywhere. Hope this helps.
i think thats the 3rd ed starter

I agree. It looks like a 3rd edition box set.
Ah, the third ed starter. It has my favorite 40K rulebook-> its still fun to read the old army lists in the back. If you're really lucky it might be the one with the special edition black templar commander figure with a combi-melta and a power weapon.
That set brings back good memories of back when I first started... Maybe I'll fish out the old BRB and read it over again....

everyone got to it before me, but yeppers that's the 3rd ed starter set. Great way to start DE if you ask me. But marines...meh your call.
That was a great model. I really wish I would have gotten it when I had the chance. I should see if I can find it on Ebay.
Thanks for all the replies, the poster said I could name a price, but it is missing the flying thing. (Which I assume to be a landspeeder.) Do you know what would be fair?
