Hey guys.I am thinking of getting Space marines. First thing. Should i get them or get imperial guard. I know that most of the times the marines will be outnumbered....And i know that imperials lack of strenght toughness and skills....
hoever a space marines megaforce is good purchase to begin an army?
For someone with no models, Black Reach isn't bad - especially if you can find an Ork to go halves with. Personally I dislike the models (no options, they are as they come) but for a starting player they're a good deal.
Yes, the megaforce is a great deal for Space Marines. I purchased it even after I already had the MacCragge set and the AoBR set, and various other single purchases. The new one available is just slightly different than the one I got but its still an excellent start.
Hmm it depends if you want a balanced army that can shoot or assault well or an army that is more artillery focus and overwhelming enemies with hordes of cheap units.
Space Marines may be a good place to start if youre just starting out in 40k.... plus you may want to look into the different space marines chapters like Blood Angels (new releases in april), black templars, etc etc
go to gw's site and read up on the stories for these armies and see what one appeals to you most.
