Cheese is usually the cry of players who can't accept a loss. BT's are just as balanced as any other army. Each army has a potential to excell in certain areas. They key is not to let your enemy force you to fight against their strengths, but attack their weaknessess. When you fail to do this it seems as if the enemy is unbeatable, and then the cry of cheese comes out.

Wolf Raider is right. There is no 'cheese', only 'underpriced' and 'illegal army list'.

To openly insist that Black Templar are "Cheese" is insulting, Fact of the matter is you need to tell your friend to grow up and learn how to play! Black Templar are an awesome army, But they are not invincible!

Get your friend and look at the codex together and instead of looking at the good thing they can do show what they cannot...

Veteran Sergeants
Devastotor Squads
Librarian

and that's only some restriction on slot choices, if you read the codex, you'll see that there a lot more things that can really be bad to BT armies....

He dares call the Most holy of chapters Cheese???

I will Purge his heretical mind with the teeth of my chainsword.

We black Templars Are not what Underlings call cheese, We Exel at close Quater Combat, but we lack a little in fire power, we are as blanced as any one else, Cheese is the Cry of the Heretic.

No scuh things as cheese. If somebody uses an illegal list or some other decieptful tactic to win that's not cheese,it's just plain cheating. If the list is prefectly legal and within the point limit you have no right to cry "Cheese" just because your list wasn't good enough to stand against it.

I have been told my Death Company is cheese by the fat greasy fanboy that prowls the local game store, he had the nerve to tell me that the whole blood angel army was cheese simply because a single death company marine plowed through about 5 Tau firewarriors. Fortunately my answer to most fanboys is my "bonk on the head stick "
Tact is for people who give a damn. I'm not one of those people.
