I have 130 points for a Vet Squad that will be mounted in a Vendetta. Right now I have 2 flamers and a demolitions. Would it be better to add another flamer and missle launcher or to just keep the 2 flamers and get a lascannon? Right now I am leaning towards the lascannon.
Buy a heavy flamer. It brings you to 130, and your not going to be dropping that vet squad out of that vendetta to fire the lascannon, so stick with short-ranged weaponry. That said, I'd say take a third flamer, put heavy bolters on the Vendetta, and spend the leftover 5 points on melta bombs for you commander or something.

Yes, the three flamer Demolishion squad is very good. You don't want to mix that type of short range weapon with long range, one will be useless.

I'd just go with x3 flamers and demolitions. Use the rest of the points else where. Heavy Flamers are too expensive for their ponts, for the same cost you get 4 standard flamers and do much more damage.
Heavy weapons start tempting you to keep a squad the should stay mobile stationary. It's a bad thing.
The points would be better spent filling out another squad or vehicle. Like heavy bolters on the vendettas.

I have yet to field my Vendetta and since I am in a ladder league I can ususally not take all my points all at once. If i go for the melta demo route I would have to hold off on the demo and take all meltas or vice versa. As for the Lasgun I am limited on long range AT, Vendetta is all I have. I did not know if it would be worth it to take a lasgun and keep the unit deployed and pick them up in a vendetta or chimera later or design a squad to keep in the vendetta till needed.
One lascannon in one squad won't make that much difference and it slows the squad down. Even at BS4 the Lascannon won't do much, it is also expensive and forces them to remain stationary.
If you are designing them to use a Vendetta then you want weapons you can fire on the move, these will special weapons.
Three melta guns at 6" pretty much guarantees that the vehicle will be either immobilised or destroyed (they have a 63% chance of destroying a Land Raider and a 24% chance of only Immobilising). If the meltas fail then the Demolitions doctrine will give you another shot with the melta bombs and why would you have to hold off on the demo charge if you use the meltas, it is still a S8 weapon so should be able to do some damage against vehicles.
Besides 3 meltas and Demolitions is exactly 130pts, 3 flamers and Demolitions is 115, for the extra 15 put Heavy Bolters on the Vendetta to give it some versatility and give an officer some melta bombs.
In my opinion if you are going to bother putting vets in a Vendetta or Valkyrie then these are the best ways to equip them. The only other way I generally equip my vets is 3 grenade launchers and an autocannon in a chimera with heavy stubber for 160pts.
Thanks everyone, that helps a lot.
