I recently stumbled upon a bit of a query from our codex. Over while looking at this http://www.librarium-online.com/foru...ml#post1655029 list, a person enlightened me about a wierd wording in the Codex.
Namely, he suggested that you could field 2 HWT in the PCS/CCS. The wording in the book says:
"Replace two other Veterans/Guardsmen with a Heavy Weapons Team armed with..."
This is after the uppgrades such as Standards and Commander equipment, but before Special Weapons. Now, this, I believe gets to a case of what you want the answer to be. Meaning:
a) If none of my Guardsmen/Veterans take any special equipment or special weapons, I can uppgrade all of them to HWTs.
b) It means that ONLY two Guardsmen/Veterans can be replaced with a HWT, no more than that, and the rest can be given special equipment or weapons.
So, what do you think would be the right way to do it?
I believe you are only allowed one heavy weapon because it says "Replace two other veterans" not "Any remaining veterans" like the special weapon entry. To me this only allows for one heavy weapon team per CCS/PCS, as this is similar wording to the troops entry.

Agree with Winginson. The wording technically specifies only 2 guardsmen in the unit being able to form a heavy weapons team. A nice idea (wish i could do this with my veteran squads!) but i believe your only limited to 1 HWT
Yep, just 1 HWT.
