So I have a Radical Inquisitor's army, but since I can swap out my Daemonhosts for equivalent points of Grey Knights, I've been thinking about doing so.
But, I've heard the Grey Knights don't offer very much bang for the buck. Standard Witch Hunter armies tend to pass on them for more fragile, but powerful units.
Does anyone know of Witch Hunter armies in which the Grey Knights do a very nasty, effective, daemon-slaying job?
My current army is one Inquisitor lord, with a bunch of henchmen, stuffed in a Landraider, with a bunch of SoB's in a Razorback, and a squad of Imperal Stormtroopers to provide cover fire as I roll into position. I don't know if Grey Knights would work well in a mobility-based build, but I'm willing to get some other units to make it work.
What are you doing with sisters in a razorback though? Firstly you can't take razorbacks, and secondly you can't take squads of regular sisters small enough to fit in a razorback.
Sorry, I meant to say a Rhino, not a Razorback.
Thanks for the feedback, I'm gonna start building the Daemonhunter army now.

I prefer the idea of the SoB with allied GKs. GK lack anti tank and exorcists and sisters really fill that role amazingly well. The one downside is that GK are pricey and you lose faith.
This aside a squad of PAGK are a good squad inside a LR, and a GKT squad is even more deadly. For similar points the GKT always perform far far better unless your avoiding CC and utilising your SB's.
If sisters had a homing beacon that you could chuck on a fast moving squad, then call in a GKT deep strike they would be absolutely deadly. Sadly no such luck
I was thinking about this for my army some day, and came to one conclusion. The If I used Grey Knight (especially terminators), i'd buy a cheapo 20-point elite inquisitor (maybe give it a psychic hood to mess with psykers) and buy a land raider with it. Since it doesn't have to be deployed in it's transport, just throw your GKs into it! Sure it's an elite slot lost, but hey, for 40 points your giving your terminators a beast of mass destruction!
I'm assuming you know that you still have to pay the 250 points for the LR and that the Inq needs a retinue to purchase it, but yes its a pretty potent mix, I don't have my codex on me now, but does our LR have the limitations on Terminator armoured models like the GK one? Would be cool to be able to stick a larger squad in it, like some of the newer SM codexes which seem to allow Termi armour in anything. GKT with Incinerators + SB jumping out flaming, then charging can really lay down the hurt.
Personally, I'm a fan of allying GKs to my sisters and putting squads of 6 GKs with a Psycannon or nothing inside of a HS immolator. It gives your GKs some transport option and throws a bit of melee punch into the mix for when you need it =D

i just looked into it and yes you can put 10 GKT in the transport from the =][= as it states that it may hold up to ten models. Does not specify termi or otherwise but the entry for the rhino right above it says 10 norm 5 termi so that leads me to believe that they knew what they were doing when they printed the LR rules.
Suffer not the heretic. That's right, I'm looking at you Astartes Librarians.
the LR can only carry five terminators and the Crusader can only carry eight... the chimera can carry six though O.o!
