Heya All, if you could all take a quick look at pages 12 & 13 of ur witch hunters codices you'll notice a giant monastery in the background. Now If you look harder you'll see tank treads. Imagine that as a figure....
Well, I've stopped imagining and started planning. I'm looking for ideas how to do it using VDR (If I even Bother) And suggestions of what to put on it.
Also, if this VDR stuff allows it, it should be able to deploy different units out of different sides or entrances/exits, including other transports carrying troops, (like a cathedral deploying four immolators with celestian squads in them.)
You should also be able to have changeable heavy weapons at the towers.
Every whisper of the future from the Warp speaks of a hundred battles lost, a thousand lives devoured and a million enemies born. -- Inquisitor Lord Babel
VDR = vehicle design rules
I'm not sure those are tracks, actually. If you look at the round bit that would be where an axle atached, it is actually recessed, and has a fleur-de-lise (sp?) inside. There are a few more of these higher up. Also, the FDL is right way up. It'd be quite coincidental for the axle to have been pointing right way up, if it were an axle. Also, ithas no apparent tracks, either. I'm thinking it's just a recessed area of the monastery...
Also, VDR doesn;t allow for the kind of things you just suggested Babel. I can't find a link to it at the moment though.
Also, It'd make a terrible model in my opinion, it'd end up like another monolith.
You could indeed build it with the VDR (in the most current Chapter Approved, or accessable through Lone Wolf's Army Builder). It'd be hideously expensive (point wise), though.
