Hmm. No question, not really a list for evaluation, must be a post your army thread. O.K.
My marine army (a painting task nightmare). Still waiting for assembly: three more Grey Hunter and two Blood Claw packs, five Rhinos, three Land Speeders, twenty Wolf Guard. Everything's a conversion, some more than others. If the packs look too large for GHs it's because I build one mini for each available option. That way I can put together any combo I want to field.
Nice collection you have there, wolfraider.
I think i can also see the sternhammer model (games day wolf priest) there, but am i wrong?
very nice armor section bet thats a night mare for any one to play VS
spambot kill tally: 79
[16:19] <@Alzer> Arky's right though
[16:20] <@Kaiser-> I know he is.
[16:20] <@Kaiser-> He usually is.
[16:20] <@Kaiser-> Sometimes it's intentional.
[00:01] <+zubus> i love you, ya skirt wearin nothern monkey! ^_^
nice army indeed Wolfraider but tell me, why have you bought multiple Baal Predator
Goddamn, WolfRaider. What if you get sick of painting grey?
I live in your eyes
Do you have a wartrack in the back there?!
"Everyone should try arrogance, it's absolutely wonderful. You can go out, do whatever you want, and go home. And the best part is, no matter what you do, or how much you ***** everything up, nothing's ever your fault because 'thou art god'."
-Bernard M. Smith, the real Michael Smith and modern day Petronius
- Yes there is a Games Day Wolf Priest, plus a few other co-opted characters converted for Space Wolves. Torquemada Coteaz was a perfect choice to use.
- I always buy the Chaos version of any vehicle I can and for the same reason bought Baal Predators. For the same price you get the basic vehicle plus all the extras. In the Baal's case, I got the complete Predators plus the metal Baal pieces for the same price as the regular Predators. You never know when you might want the extra bits. I use a lot of Chaos bitz so I get the Chaos stuff too.
- As for painting grey, this is my second Space Wolf army, so I think I'm OK with grey. I paint a lot of other stuff so it doesn't become too bad. Wolves have a plenty of details so that helps too.
-I field a lot of armor because the Wolf Raiders are a fast attack armored infantry force. I originally modeled them after pirate corsairs (raiders )
He looked too much like a Priest with a Chooser of the Slain so I had to get one for conversion.
and of course I have to have the real Priest
Wolfraider is that converted Priest, really a Daemonhunter holding a bloodletter axe?
How strange :rofl: (love the new smilies)

When I say jump you don't ask me 'How high?' maggot! You jump!
Not a wartrack, but very similar. I prefer Attack Bikes over Land Speeders but didn't like the old style side car versions, so I made my own Raider Heavy Attack Bikes. Definitely influenced by wartracks and halftracks.Originally posted by IGgeneral+Sep 12 2004, 10:22-->
QUOTE(IGgeneral @ Sep 12 2004, 10:22)

Do you have a wartrack in the back there?!
One in progress. The gunner's not attached until after painting.

Probably. Of course now he's a Wolf/Rune Priest, or will be once he's finished and painted. I converted everyone to axes and to avoid having a lot of the same axe I just ordered every axe I could get. I don't exactly recall which one's are which. I just use whatever I think looks cool on the mini.
