I'm deffinitely going to be using jump infantry for my blood angels. But the thing i like about the new Dex is the amount of different builds you can possibly take. So my question to you is can a tac squad based BA army do well? I know GW has a sample army with all tac and DC in 3 land raiders, but GW sample lists are not known for being the best. So, what do you folks think? (My curiosity on the subject MAY be fueled by the fact i finished assembling 5 tac squads just before the new codex was announced and now theya re just sitting around lol)
In the Castle of Pain on a Mountain of Skulls I sat on a Throne of Blood. What was will be, what is will be no more. Now is the season of Evil!

Tacticals in BA work the same way they do for vanilla. Stick 'em in Rhinos and bunker up at midfield. You lose out on combat tactics and the awesomeness that is Assault Squads, but they are doable. I wouldn't use more than 3 though, Tacticals really don't kill stuff, they're support.
Now Sternguard, they're awesome.

I've got 2 full Tactical squads in 2000pts, Both in Rhino's. ==ME== is spot on, they're support. They capture objectives and pick on weak things like Guardian Squads and Guants. The Assault Squads and Vets kills things.
Having tacticals is handy though, they can nab an objective and provide a little support for the rest of your force as it advances. Most people will be too concerned with the 30 or so Assault Marines being rammed down his throat he'll forget about the unscary Tactical squad holding an Objective.
My 2k List is:
Vanguard, Captain and Priest in a Raider.
20 Assault Marines in Rhinos's
20 tactical Marines in Rhino's
2 Predators with Lascannons.
It's done well so far and even tabled a Daemon army in 5 turns.
The heavy weapons are dirt cheap too. I might buy a Devastator box because I don't feel bad about only shooting a gun a few times a game anymore. I don't know if the tacticals are worth it though. You can have Assault marines in transports do the same jobs a little less effectively of join in on the assault. The key to the tactical marines imo is that you are less tempted to throw everything into the fray and so may play a better tactical game. Dunno, I'm definitely buying another tactical squad now that BA's are out.
