Afternoon to all.
I was hoping if someone could tell me if the dread sets are interchangeable? Such as taking the multi-metla from AoBR, and using it on a "normal" dread set?
I'm planning on buying alot of dread sets, such as the ironclad, to build some really nasty looking furiosos.
Thanks in advance for the help!
The AoBR dread arms have the pins sized differently from normal dreads. I'd imagine you could make them work with some effort, but they don't come swappabale. (As much as it would make sense if they did)
If you use magnets for the arms you can use any combination of parts - I have AoBR dread with with arms from the regular kit.
I agree. A few magnets and some tweaking and you're set.

Other than the AOBR dread the other dreads, that's the dreadnaught, ironclad dreadnaught, venerable dreadnaught, and I've never bought the kit but i could imagine the furioso dreadnaught is all interchangable. It wouldn't surprise me if the forge world models were also designed to be interchangable with basic GW dreadnaughts.
Ask me about the Black and White Space Marine on the Black and White Bike!!!
Thanks for the input/help.
I figured I better drop this in before its too late, but its important for you to know that the regular dread front plate and the venerable dread body DO NOT perfectly match up. In this instance the reg dreads front plate ends up leaving a small gap at the top of the dread, though it otherwise fits on just fine. If you do this you will need either some bits or some sculpting with greenstuff to close the gap though. I would assume BTW that this also means the the ven-dread front plate and the reg dread torse also do not match up perfectly, but in that case it would be a matter of the ven-dread front plate being too big for the re dread body.
