wondering if these rules would work for soul drinkers, i know that they are based off the Imperial fists but the basic marines list doesn't seem to work out well for the chapter. Throw me your ideas on the subject I'm open to suggestions.

Thought about this myself actually. Meph would make a Very cool Sarpedon. Other than that though there isn't really anything in the Blood Angels list that would jump out and say "thats so Soul Drinkers". All the cool gear that Angels get you couldn't really blagg with the Drinkers Fluff (like Baals or Priests, Furioso's or lots of assault squads)
If you were to do a normal Marine army (tact squads etc) with the Angel list with Meph as Sarpadon you can't go wrong. (not sure how you'd blagg red thirst though)
The Storm Raven Gunships could quite easily be the alien Tech Transports they used from time to time.
I think it was raised before and I expressed the opinion that it isn't a very tight fit. You're obviously free to do it, but to be honest the Chaos codex is more suited to the job.

the reason i was thinking blood angels is cause soul drinkers before the chaos taint was an assault army with little vehicle support, so blood angels with some of the best assault units for space marines works out well. Plus i already have a chaos army and i dont really like the csm list since the change personal opinion btw lol
