hi i dont play marined but was wondering after seeing the new raven guard on forgeworld, why do some have the beak style helmets? i thought it was something to do with some mutation around that area but im sure someone can give me a better answer
Beakies provide some protection, deflecting some shots to the face. Nothing to do with a Beak mutation.
Create flames for a galaxy and it will be warm. Put a galaxy in flames and it will be warm for the rest of it's existence.
cheers thats actually quite boring really lol
Indeed. I'm fairly certain the Inquisition would have come a-knocking where they to have actual beaks...
Indeed. I use my beeky helmets almost exclusively on my jet pack squads, since they look so aerodynamic and all.
I wouldn't be terribly surprised if there was a Chapter with beaks, but the Raven Guard aren't it. There's already the Black Dragons (they have claws and huge talon things coming out of their arms), Salamanders (red eyes and charcoal skin, some even have scales) and Sanguinius had actual wings.
It is a later Mk of Power Armour, generaly given to assault marines.
