I recently made a all infantry guard list and for my 2k list, I want to throw in some elite choices, and mabey fast attack. any Ideas would be helpfull
Storm Troopers wouldn't be bad, you need some ability to get at hiding tanks or units. Psyker Battle Squads are good too but they really need a Chimera, so soft. I'm not a Ratlings fan, they're well priced but Snipers are very ineffective in real games.
Sentinels would be a great compliment to your all infantry theme, very flexible and more good guns. Any of the Hell Hound variants are solid as well, especially when the remnant of a horde unit is about to hit your lines.

Pretty much what excess said. When I clicked on the thread, I already had in my mind exactly what Excess was going to say. Storm Troopers would be a strong addition, a forward attack force.
Sentinels would be a themed addition for you. Rough Riders would work well, too, but you'd need to be careful with them, they'd be a great counter-charge unit.
Stormtroopers, they're a reliable way of getting meltaguns into your opponents backfield.
Marbo could be a good addition, since you have no other ways of throwing ordance across the table he can deliver it right to your opponent.
We could give you some more help if we knew what type of infantry army you were after, like if you're taking any special characters, sentinels, if you're a gunline, blob squads...
Advice for what elite choices to take for a gunline led by creed would be very different from those for a blob assault wave spearheaded by straken, and that would be different from a flank attack orchastrated by Alraem...

I will make my army more clear to everyone, At the moment im building a 2k list lead by creed and mabey have a inquisitor or grey knight lord in there, im also having 3 earthshaker platforms acting as basilisks. and thanks for all the advice so far im getting a good picture of what to put in my army.
If you're thinking about Daemonhunter inductions then you can't go wrong with a Grey Knight Terminator squad. Rough Riders are also worth considering. The way I see it, your artillery will prevent your opponent from being able to stay away from you and your (slow) infantry can't afford to have their advance to objectives stalled, so a speedy and/or effective close combat unit would serve you well.

Personally in my experience a few squads of x5 storm troopers with x2 plasma guns and airborne operations can really make a dent in both your opponents forces and strategy. I currently have been experimenting with two squads of these guys and i have to say i am very impressed with the results. Dropping them in by opponents objectives or behind/flank of light vehicles you can both shred infantry and make his strategy and day a living hell.
