    Nostalgia trip!

We all have em, old shoe boxes, old gw cardboard boxes and the likes hidden away in the deepest of drawers and the darkest of closets... I happened to be looking through these ancient boxes of mine. I found a masterpiece ( ) of an old army... with these with em...

Previous edition space marine tanks! but I want to ask you all aside from the obvious size issues what tanks do you like better the new ones or the old!

The tank in the first Pic looks like a Leman Rus...
I like the fullbody shield of the new vindicator more as well. Spikes are alwasy cool tho

Nice photos. I got about thirteen of the old style tanks and transports, and remember feeling gutted when they brought out the new version and they were all made redundant. Lovely paint job on them, cammo schemes are rare on marine stuff.
Jager bombs. Very efficient at wiping out friend or foe.

Stylistically I like the newer models better, they depict the over-cumbersome technology of the empire in my eyes a bit more. But old models do give you some nice feeling inside.
Oldschool sentinels are really cool though, i think they should have stuck with that design.

I like the new. Comparing the New vs Old is like Citadel Minis vs FoW Infantry they just look tacky compared to the other.

Any chance you have any old razorbacks? With the turret that had the open back and the guy sitting in it?

I loved those razors, generally though i do prefer the newer models.

I've got one of those, actually. It's a las/plas turret I got off of a guy who was selling off his Space Wolves.

I'm eventually going to repaint the thing in my own chapters colours - but even then, it still looks pretty slick. I've been tempted to sit down and figure out how to build some similarly styled turrets out of modern razerback mounts.
