Hey guys just wondering, do all Blood Angels with jump packs get the descent of angels special rule?
For example if i give death company or vanguard jumpacks does that confer the rule or is it only avaible to assualt squads. I see no reason why this should be the case but when i look at my codex it does list DoA under anyone but normal assault marines.
I mgiht actually be bothered trying to field some vanguard if they get the rule. Am I missing something here what are your thoughts?
Yes they do, look at the Jump Pack in the Wargear section.
Heroic intervention would probably be the most useless ability ever if they didn't......
Well do you think the DoA rule makes them a viable option? I was thinking of making my army more fluffy. Right now I usually run a couple of RazorBazks supported by assault squads, so i was thinking of adding either some sanguinary guard, deathcompany, or vanguard
Yes, BA vanguards are much more viable then their vanilla cousins due to DoA. However, the really best way to use them is to drop 2 furiosos on drop pods with locator beacons initially.

Imperial Guards 12-5-2 Daemons 8-3-2
Yea I have to agree with jy2 here, makes the option alot safer and more effective.
