Ok...so I was looking through the IG codex and the WH codex and I was thinking it would be real cool if i could have a Commisar lead my IG guys (it would be oh so fluffy) and the IG codex says commisars don't take up a slot in the FOC...so can you attach them to an inducted IG untit? I mean they work the same way as a preist in your WH units? Also if you can't take the commisar..would you be allowed to stick the priest (from the WH list) onto the inducted IG unit?
The Witch Hunters codex specifically outlines what units you may use from the Imperial Guard. It's not the same as how people can use Witch-Hunters, that is, 0-1 HQ, and since we can't use any IG HQ units in any form, that includes the Commisar.
An important question, however, is whether or not other armies, when taking our priests, count the 0-1 HQ slot, since the priest doesn't count for that in the Witch Hunters list. If not, then a Daemonhunters army, for instance, could take up to five of them and slap them on grey knight squads to have the GKs do re-rollable 3+ to hit and 2+ to wound, (in most scenarios, what with them being WS5 and S6 in close-combat.)
