    Modeling ideas for Griffons.

Does anyone have any experience in model conversions for Griffon mortars?

what my friend did is just cut down the basilisk barrel. It's a bit expensive but it's an option.

That's easier than the PVC and plasticard chimera modification that I was considering.

I'll be agreeing with Karona here, the old chopped down Basilisk is a rather 'easy' way of getting the basics up and going (gun barrel, loading bay, etc), such as this one right here:

Though thinking back, the old breach loader for the Basilisk may be a tad too large for the griffon mortar shells you'll be lobbing. Worth a look anyhow I guess...

the ones on dakka dakka are nice, but it's a fair bit of work, and buying and converting bassies isn't really that much cheaper than just buying griffons from FW in the first place.
