    Wheels for Chimera?

I've been tinkering with the idea of modding one of my Chimeras into a more "boondocks battleship" pattern suitable for toting 5 Ogryn around in. To do this, I was thinking of modifying the hull to take 3 axles and some largish wheels. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas where to look for the wheels.

    Thanks in advance.

maybe in a toy store. They have alot of different cars there and there must be some wheels suitable enough to use.

Ork wheels always look suitably tough, and you dont want your chimera to end up with a flat tire so if you can find them somewhere it could work.

If you're thinking of something like the Stryker then the Ork wheels will look too small. The best looking option would be to actually buy a Stryker model kit and kitbash it with the Chimera.

I used a bunch of large Lego wheels I got from eBay. ( should have a photobucket link in my sig or at least one to my wip which should have the link). I tried looking for them from lego but they seemed a little expensive and hard to find so toy shops are a good bet. I found Gw wheels to be a little small for my tastes!

    Hope that helps

What scale would I look for something like 1/35?

I think 1/48 size is closer to the actual GW scale, and the 1/35 stryker is about 7 or 8 inches long. But since you only want 3 wheels per side, it would probably end up being pretty close to a Chimera if you cut it down a bit.
