as the title indicates, I decided recently that I wanted an Apocalypse Datasheet for every unit in Codex Space Marines, and went about creating them.
Some of the units already have datasheets, so I will show this where that is the case, but even then I have created some better suited to that particular unit, rather than some of the "clag 'em all together and add a strategic asset" ones that GW have done.
Anyway, I'm not going to post all of the sheets in this thread, as the amount of debate would probably be absurd, but I am going to use this as a "Contents Page" leading to the appropriate Datasheets in the Rules Dev or 40k Supplements subforum, so that any feedback on the individual sheets can be given in each sheet's thread.
I'm not going to post them all at once, but I will update each entry with a link when I have posted the sheet, and I'd like someone to suggest the first sheet they would like to see, or failing that I will just post one of my choice.
So without further ado, here is the list. Entries in italics are existing GW datasheets that already feature the unit, which I haven't bothered covering again. Also note I haven't bothered doing specific sheets for most of the Special Characters, as they tend to be Archetypes that can be used with any of the sheets in which a Chapter Master, Captain or so on is used.

So, which one would you like to see first?
Well, since I've had no bites, I've put up a sheet chosen at random.
The Reclusiary Sermon is up now, which is a Chaplain (the Master of Sanctity) accompanied by a counts-as command squad of Chaplain-Initiates (and a few special rules). I wrote this one for the modelling options as much as anything else.
I like apocalypse rules. Gives a little more flexibility and is good fun.
Very nice initiative!
I'm curious to the Sternguard formation and the scouts with Tellion...
I'll make those next up then!
I've tried to make sure that all of the sheets had rules appropriate to the units they include, to make them more interesting and more in keeping with what the units should be doing.
Right, I've added the Sternguard Tidebreaker Formation. This one is designed to let you do what Sternguard are supposed to do - come in, unleash hell, then hold the line until reinforced or killed to a man. That is how I imagine Sternguard should be acting, so I've tried to make it so that there is some benefit to doing so!
Both datasheets look awesome. I particularly like the sternguard one. Question: Is it possible to attach a HQ to the units in the Tidebreaker Formation?
I like the way the Rhino/Razorback Armored Column looks as well as the Tactical Squad Spear Strike Formation. They sound cool and considering a play those units a lot, would be very useful.
Keep up the good work
Space Marines are like gravity. It's not just a good idea. It's the Law.
Glad you like em
The question about ICs is an interesting one. I didn't bother to mention specifically, but then I realised that the same question could be posed about a lot of Apoc Datasheets. The Apocalypse book doesn't mention it, so I would assume you can join an IC to any units taken in a formation as usual, but the IC would not benefit from any special rules that only affect the formation.
So in the case of the Tidebreakers, your IC could join one of the squads and ride in their pod, but he wouldn't benefit from the combi-weapon reload or have defensive grenades.
Obivously there may be examples where it's not appropriate, but it should be a matter of common sense really!
I've added the Scout Infiltration Force now, in all their glory. They sound like a lot of fun, and really characterise what you can do with a camo cloak and a little hard work!
Both are a very nice piece of work. Next time I get round to doing some apocalypse battles I'll sure try and use em!
these are great!, i would like some that could be used for SW, an any other chapters that others may play. these would include he land speeder one and the land raider crusader
