Hi, I have started a small space marine force and want to include a squad of terminators. The models look so nice, I was wondering what is the best way to use them. Is it to have them teleport in near a beacon or to put them into a Land Raider?
Any help would be much appreciated,
Cool, thanks. Also for assault terminators is it best to go for all thunder hammers or take a mixture?
Shooty terminators are best taken from the BT or DA codexes - if you're running another book, you'll probably get more cost-efficiency from a unit of assault terminators.
i find the best mix for CC terminators is 3 x LC and 2x TH and SS, i use it all the time and it tends to be a sort of jack of all trades build, deep strike that into battle inside a redeemer! (as you can tell im Blood Angles!!)
PROUD TO BE IN THE BRITISH ARMY.

I like deep striking my shooty term and using a land raider for assault. I generally only walk if it is a small table or deployment allows me to get near the center.
shooty termies are good for deepstriking, and creating a dangerous distraction ( i am considering taking 10 in 2000pts to create a big wing so to speak) but i do miss the previous marine codex where you could have a 5 man squad with 2 special weapons in (ahhh the trusty assault cannon and cyclone missile launcher squad). Other than that assualt termies are the way to go, again i do miss an assualt squad with furious charge it made all the difference. sticking them in a land raider crusader is probable the best way, but watch out there are plenty of melta/plasma weapons out there that will take the earliest opportunity to toast yor termies!
