    Hi all
I just got onto a heap of these figures for $100 Australian , I have 114 figures , heavy weapons and stuff.
I intend to paint them up and add some sentinals , will this be a viable army on their own ? , I will use them as allies for my Daemonhunters as well.
Anyone got any pictures of a varied colour scheme , I want them to fit in on sand and red/terracotta colur table with my Daemonhunters.

Yes, as long as you stick to the rules in the Codex then the army will be perfectly legal. One of the great aspects of the Imperial Guard is the different models you can use to represent platoons...***

There are a number of Talarn IG schemes in Codex IG.

I was toying with the idea myself but price and the fact I get bored painting one colour scheme put me off.

Consider adding some rough riders and you should have quite a decent army
Everything you have been told is a lie!
