So this thought crossed my mind in the middle of my Calc3 class (I was that bored )...
The Emperor is mostly dead yeah? On that Golden Throne to keep him goin' right? You can put an Astartes in a Dreadnought yeah?
Why can't they do it for the Emperor? Cuz... the Dreadnought-Emperor sounds even more badass
By all means quash this madness =I= style as I'm not up on my Emperor-centric fluff.
Because he's been busy with doing other shit while sitting on the Golden Throne for the last 10,000 years.
The golden throne also powers the astronomicon, and keeps the portal to a daemon-infested portion of the webway closed. The last non-Emperor to sit in it was the Sigilite, and despite being a powerful psyker in his own right barely lasted long enough for the Emperor to beam up to Horus' barge, kill him, and come back before he was a shrunken husk.
There we go... thats the info I didn't know. Thanks guys!
