Ok I'm wanting to make Engir's Great Company but I'm not sure how many marines I would need. All I know is lots of transports and a good amount of swift claws. Any thoughts?
Engir is the undisputed King of the Rhino Rush. It even says in the profile "Krakendoom's Company prefers to go to war in armored transports" Personally I would run about 4 Rhino's, 2 Swiftclaw packs, a Sky Claw Pack, and maybe a Land Raider sporting the Wolf Lord himself and his personal retinue (If you want to stay fluffy) Depending on the points value of the game at hand, this would obviously vary.

The Wolf time is upon us!
Rep for the Rep God! Positive for the Positive Throne!
Armies: Space Wolves, Imperial Guard, Emperors Children, Necrons, Eldar
If you're trying to build and paint the whole entirety of the Great Company, then hundreds of marines. There's 12 Great Companies, and something like 3000 Space Wolves altogether, IIRC. Each one of them ranges anywhere from 150 to 1000 marines, according to the lexicanum.
Depends on if you are trying to make a Great Company list or the whole Great Company... For 1500 pts list you need maybe 40 to 50 Marines and 4 Rhinos. For the whole Great Company you need something along the lines of 300 Marines, 20 to 30 Rhinos plus a handfull of Land Raiders.
