Hi all thought I would just see everyone's take on the best set up for GK infantry units (paladins, purifiers, purgation squads, interceptors, GKSS and termies) I'll post tomorrow with my current ideas.
Hmm, I'll just run through each unit type with the format I plan on setting each up with:
(5 man) Paladins + Apothecary + 2x psycannons + 1x Sword/2x Halberd/1x Hammer - These guys in my eyes, you either go all the way in their gear, or don't go at all. Without an apothecary, you are just asking to get nailed.
(10 man) Purifier Squad + 2x Incinerator + 2x Psycannon + 5x Halberds/1x Hammer - Mixing weapons usually isn't the best for range, but 4x incinerators is over kill, thus 2x psycannons adds function. My 5 man squad will be run in 1500 pts or less and looks the same minus the psycannons and 3 halberds. Their nemesis weapons are dirt cheap, take as many halberds as possible!
Purgation squad - I would never use these guys, their psycannons are too expensive and our heavy supports are much better filled with a dreadknight or dreadnought. Purifiers do everything they do for cheaper!
Interceptors - 5 man would be (Psycannon + 2x Halberd/1x Hammer), 10 man (2x Psycannon + 2x Halberd/1x Hammer + psybolt ammo if I have the points) - I try to keep these guys cheap, the halberds can be sacrificed if I need a little extra room.
GKSS - These are exactly the same as my interceptors.
(5 man) Terminators + Psycannon + 1x sword/3x Halberd/1x Hammer - You can make these guys really expensive with warding staves and banners, but I doubt you'll earn the points back, so I keep them cheap.
Basically, always take a hammer for those monstrous creature/vehicle opportunities and fill the special weapon slot with a psycannon (unless its the purifiers so you get free incinerators!). Halberds are great, but use in moderation! Pysbolt ammo only on 10 man squads.

Tau my love! You are back!
I'm running my set ups as such:
Paladins- Don't have any just yet but when I do, they will be 5 man with gear set up to abuse wound allocation =)
Purifiers- I'm going for MSU, so I'm running these guys in 6 man squads. 2 sets w/ Psycannon, Hammer, 1 Falchion and 3 Halberds in a Rhino. 2 sets w/ 2 Psycannon, Hammer, 3
Halberds to DS in to cover flanks and support the other 2 units.
Purgation squad- I have one of these at 5 men (Because I just don't have my Dreadknight yet. They are naked with 4 Incinerators in a Rhino so that I can drop a nasty flaming
supprise on my opponent. My other Heavies are Rifleman Dreads.
Interceptors- 5 man. Falchions across the board. It's not killer expensive but i figure they will be stuck in quickly enough that the extra attacks would come in handy.
GKSS- Don't plan on using them as I'm using Crowe for my Purifiers
Terminators- 5 Man. 2 Halberds, 2 Swords (one with Psycannon) and Hammer. Cheap (For Termies) and efficient. Have Psy for the Hvy4 Rending, have the Halberds for enhanced Init, the Hammer for MCs and vehicles and the swords for wound allocation at 4++.
strikes= 10x w/ 2x psycannons, justicar hammer thats master crafted, psybolt ammo, rhino
Terminators=5x w/incinerator or psycannon, justicar hammer thats master crafted
Eldar -APOC- 6500 Points
Chaos Daemons -Fate Crusher- 3500 Points
Grey knights - 1000 Points
In my planned 2k list
Terminators - 6 man, incinerator, 2 hammers, 2 halberds (rides with GM in Stormraven)
Strike Squad - 6 man, Psycannon, Hammer Justicar, Razorback w/ Psybolt
Also have alternate lists with
Interceptors - 10 man, 2 Psycannon, 2 Hammers, Psybolt Ammunition
Strike Squad - 10 man, 2 psycannons, 2 Hammers, Psybolt Ammunition, Rhino
Basically it's max out the specials, include a Hammer, 2 if the unit is termies or possibly going to Combat Squad, Psybolt Ammunition on full 10-man squads, dedicated transport if possible. Essentially, just like marines, but with shinier gear.
No real desire to field Paladins, Purifiers, or Purgation Squads.

I said I'd put up my units for people to peek at, I've not yet played with them but I trust they are a nice balance.
- 7 GK
- 6 halberds
- 1 incinerator
- 5 terminators
- 3 halberds
- 1 axe (counts as sword)
- 1 hammer
- 1 psycannon
- 5 terminators
- 3 halberds
- 1 sword
- 1 hammer
- 1 incinerator
- 5 paladins
- brotherhood banner
- nemesis force stave
- 3 swords
I also have 10 unconstructed GK I plan to make as purifiers and 2 GKTs that are henna be constructed as a GM with incinerator and a librarian, any suggestions criticisms welcome in fact I'd appreciate it. Am toying with giving them all psyc bolts depending on points.
Sorry ignore this double post

Psycannon + Daemonhammer
Psycannon + Falshions
Never give anything but a 10 man Paladin squad an Apothecary, Banner,or Psybolt ammunition. And I would argue not even in that circumstance. Equip each on differently and take the maximum number of psycannons possible.
purifiers: 10 man, 4 psycannons, 5 halberds, 1 MC hammer of 10 man 4 incinerators, 5 halberds, 1 MC hammer. in rhinos
purgation: 5 man, 4 incinerators in Razorback with psybolt ammunition or 5 man 4 psycannons. yes the psycannon is expensive for them but you can still take 4 of them and only need 5 models
GKSS: I don't play with them because purifiers is so much better but if I would it would look like this: 10 man 2 psycannons, MC hammer. in Rhino. halberds is just to expensive to put on the normal grey knights.
interception: same as GKSS(minus the Rhino ) and probably with another hammer and with psybolts.
GKT: 5 man, psycannon, MC hammer, 3 halberds or 10 man 2 psycannons, 2 MC hammers, BB, rest halberds and psybolts if I have the points.
Paladins: 1o man, Apoth, 2x MC DH, Halberds, 4x MC Psycannons, BBanner, Psybolt. yes that is one expensive unit but with a librarian with Shrouding it't awesome
Is a 10 man Paladin squad not just a huge drain on points surely it's better to have a 5/6 man squad and attach your hq to it for example I'm genna attach my GM and librarian to it
