A few years ago I bits ordered a few things, a tank, some doors, and a tiwn-linked Psycannon for a Vehicle. I never got around to mounting it, now with the new codex I'm more motivated.
An assault cannon with psybolt ammunition is Str 7, AP 4, heavy 4, Rending. That's psycannon stats. I can now used it as what it is, a twin-linked psycannon. Here's my problem, the only thing I have to mount it on is my Rhino/Razorback. My land raider is the basic one with las-cannons. Is a razorback with a twin-linked psycannon (twin-linked assault cannon with psybolt ammunition) worth 85 points?
Whether or not the extra points on a light armoured razor is tough to say. I guess it depends on if you think your razor will make it to 24" range, etc. It is only slightly more than las-plas that I run on my BA razors but then again BAs get that upgrade for free, soo...
You could always convert your LR to a redeemer if you want.
Rules for playing massive tabletop games with star wars miniatures!
Actually, no, I don't think the psybolt AssCan razorback is worth it. Too pricey. I am using stock TLHB razorbacks with psybolts. About 1/2 the cost of any other razorback option with highly accurate S6 dakka out to 36". Hard to beat that!
ninjabackhand: point and click, again, really? even after i give you an military term "shock tactic" you still call it point and click.
