According to the new White Dwarf the Dreadknight Doomfists have built in storm bolters. I dont see where they are on the model, and i dont remember seeing this in the codex. Can any1 confirm this? If its not in the codex what should we believe WD or the dex?
It is not in the codex, or options in the kit. White Dwarf sometimes prints erroneous stuff unless they're deciding to add in options right after the codex is released. It would be nice if a codex was planned out properly to avoid FAQs and added features, etc., a week after the stuff is officially released. It has become a really big problem with the videogame industry lately where they release a broken game and the first time you pop it in on release day, there are already a bunch of patches/updates. I hope this hobby isn't headed this way. The DK is fine as presented in the codex, which is only a week old.
I don't listen to White Dwarf when it come to pretty much anything... the rulebook states the codex takes precedence and makes no mention of it being trumped by white dwarf. But then again, I don't read White Dwarf, which people find amusing considering I've had the White Dwarf tattooed on my left arm since the mid-nineties

Rules for playing massive tabletop games with star wars miniatures!
You forget the nemesis doomfist is also the name of the dreadnaught close combat weapon which does have a stormbolter and thats where white dwarf went screwy i think -the fact is if the model doesn't have them then the model doesn't have them
