Something that has come up in my group. Can Interceptors move 12'' in the movement phase. The teleporter doesn't mention giving them any such ability but they are jump infantry.
You can check the rulebook for what special rules Jump Infantry have. Anyway, yes, all jump infantry move 12" in the movement phase.
Ummm...wow is this what i think it is jumppack Grey knights who can also teleport across the battlefield once per game...um wow
guess this will be an obligatory choice for me from now on.
(off to read the BRB section on jump troops just to make sure)
It isn't really unprecedented. Eldar have Warp Spiders. I was just double checking. This means the Dread Knight can also fly making him probably the most powerful monstrous creature in the game!
I think I would be really surprised if they were allowed jumppack movement...especially the dreadknight. I think that, as 6 seems to be implying, the personal teleporter operates like the jetpack in terms of class-designation...it's a piece of wargear that places them in the jump infantry category, but that doesn't confer a 12" move.
...but if the BRB says so, I think that you have a good argument for the alternative interpretation. Intuitively, to me, it just doesn't seem likely.
And Jump Infantry moves are indeed covered directly in the BRB. See p. 52.

It wont get FAQ'ed at all, the GK is nearly a direct copy of a daemon price (Chaos daemons) as its intended to be. Wings for a CD daemon prince cost around the same. Almost all the stats are the same and it is priced around the same. And no it is not the most powerful there are much more powerful but it is a very very nice toy.
What will be decided in the FAQ (hopfully) is if the DK will get Str 10 or not for the 2 DCCW it has. Its not a walker but... heres to hopeing.
