The Inconcievable Customisation rule is giving my quite a headache.
Is it really the case that:
If you have 6 Jokaero or more you can never get any customisations.
If you have 5 Jokaero you can only ever roll up 5+ invulnerable (which the monkeys already have).
Given that IMO Improved Gun Sights is the by far the best result, and it is impossible to roll up if you have 3 or more monkeys, is 2 the optimal number of monkeys (giving a 37% chance of rolling the Gun Sights result)? Or it worth spamming the Obliterator-monkeys anyway?

Why would you want that many in your unit? You can only get each improvement once. They are cheap so you could go that route. Do you really think they can make their points back before they get killed? For me I will field 1 in a unit to get an improvement and have a free heavy weapon.Or it worth spamming the Obliterator-monkeys anyway?
Why use science and education when ignorance and superstition will work just as well.
I've thought about the same thing. Haven't got an answer for you though. Funilly enough, I use two in my "Anchor squad" with gun servitors and an Inquisitor. I feel that you need a lot of extra wounds in the squad where you use them though.

PigBenis69: stfu n00b
I've a feeling you're not meant to add the bonuses for extra monkies after the intitial roll.
EX: You have 2 monkeys. You roll 1d6+1. a 5-6 means roll twice more. Those rolls still get the +1.
Therefore, if you have 6 or more monkeys (1d6+5) you cannot get anything, b/c all you will roll is 6's.
On that note, the one that I've been wondering is: It says ignore duplicate results including duplicate rolls of 6. Does that mean ignore and you loose that roll, or ignore and roll again?
"The objective is to win, the point is to have fun."
Ignore means ignore. If you got to reroll it, then it would say 'Reroll any doubles' or something similar.
Its a shame, but because of this I do not really rate the monkeys. As have been said, my servitor/Inquisitor squad will likes get 1/2 monkeys, but for the points, i'd rather take 2 Melta toting Warrior Acolytes.
Also, edited the post title. I know that it had already been censored, but keeping the word in any form off the forums is best, lest it slowly creep more and more in.
