i am wanting to make my self a red scorpian army, and im reading my imperial armour 9: badab war part one, and noticed one of the rules for culln.
this rule has to deal with his 'chapter tactics' trait. it says that you upgrade one of your 'veteran sargents' in your 'tactical squads' into a (won't say what, but those of you who know what im talking about... know what im talking about)
i then turned to make my army list... then became very confuzed. no where (that i can see) does it say anything about upgrading your sargent to a vet sarg...
am i just blind/dumb, or am i right about this?
if so, how would one upgrade your vet sarg/normal sarg into the... thing i will not mention...

The entry is badly worded due to the fact that there is no Veteran Sergeant in Tactical Squad. There is only Space Marine Sergeant. However, the rest is simple: You just replace the Tactical Squads sergeant with Apothecary for no point cost. Statline, wargear and special rules for Apothecary are found under the 'Command Squad' Codex entries.

Second what was said above, simply replace tactical squad sergeants with apothecaries. Merely a badly worded entry I'm afraid.

Well, any red scorpions list kinda needs culln by default otherwise they're not really scorpions now are they....
Loth is one of my favourite special charecters, he is frankly immense, however, taking both may be a tad pricey for 1500, maybe consider it in a 2k list? They'd be nearly a third of your army on thier own in 1500....
good idea. culln it is then... now to make the list! thinking 2 10 man squads in rhinos and 2 6 man squads in razors, then a vindi or two with a dread with ML/LC
Sounds good, there really is no point in taking culln unless you spam the tactical squads somewhat, might I suggest taking some sort of cc squad to take advantage of culln's cc prowess however? Either that or stick him with a tactical squad on your most important objective, and watch them soak up firepower....
