I went and got the vanilla SM codex the other day, because I'm wanting to start an imperial fists army.
I was looking through it at all the nicely painted models for inspiration on how I could paint up my guys.
Do you know how many Imperial Fists (second only to the ultramarines according to the codex) models there were in there? 1, Lysander, and that was it.
I mean there were even 2 hawk lords models in there, I hadn't even heard of them till I got the 'dex.
Sorry sorry, just had a brain explosion.
Are the imperial fists so hated amongst players that GW are starting to phase them out?
No, Matt Ward has just got a massive ****ing hardon for the Ultramarines.
I really dislike the ultramarines, they are the kids that told the teacher you were smoking behind the toilet block, so goody goody, bastards! Lol, I just love the story of the imperial fists. And how they use the pain glove as a form of meditation.
Was there a point to this thread? If you want to see models painted in Imperial Fist colours go to model websites like Coolminiornot.
I was just expecting there to be more alternative representation, instead it should have just been call 'Ultramarine Codex'. Sorry, it was just kind of shocking to see even unknown ultramarine spin off chapters with more models then the fists who are the SM chapter based on earth.
A.T Tyranic war vets was last edition. Not current.
