Well it's taken long enough, finally got my codex, picked up the battleforce as well.
Now I have a few questions.
One where do people get the flamers for their Bloodclaw Squads? I know people don't run them much/at all, but for fluff purposes I'm sticking a squad in.
Frost Axe's, model wise, the model is holding it in both hands, but book wise, I can't find anything that says its a 2h weapon, so I assume its a 1h weapon.
Finally what are the best upgrades for a Wolf Lord?
Legion Of Everblight: Abyslonia
Protectorate of Menoth: Grand Exemplar Kreoss
The ordinary Tactical Marine box has a flamer. Doesn't the SW Pack box come with one too? It's been so long since I saw the sprues that I can't remember...
Forst weapons are 1h weapons.
I don't know if it's the "best" build, but I run my Lord with Terminator armor, Wolf Claw, Storm Shield, Necklace and Saga of the Bear. Expensive as all hell, but survivable and able to hold his own even in a prolonged assault. I've been toying around with the idea of swapping the Wolf Claw into a Frost Axe to see how that works out.
Wolf Lord builds can be done in whatever format you want, as long as you decide what you want this guy to do.
Terminator Armour, Storm Shield, Wolf Claw and Saga of the Bear is good for a model on foot, but take the Canis model as a standard Wolf Lord on a Thunderwolf mount with twin Wolf Claws, runic armour, Belt of Russ and Saga of the Warrior Born and you have a seriously vicious killing machine for 225pts. Improved statline from the Thunderwolf moves Instant Death from Str8 to Str10. It also changes his Unit Type to cavalry. Wolf Claws give you choice of re-rolls, 2+/4++ saves are almost as good as the TEq with Storm Shield, and that Warrior Born Saga nastiness makes for one real pig of a model.
The sheer number of attacks that one of these builds can potentially generate for the second round of combat is awesome. My guy had 12.....!

Google "The WarStore." I buy bits from them all the time (meltaguns, lascannons, arms, legs, etc.) This particular source that I use is in Long Island.
Battlewagon bits ftw!
