Sorry for posting this here, i wasnt sure where else to put it, i found it very good and have passed it on to everyone in my gaming community.
No comments?? I think this could definetly be the beginning of something as i tend to agree with Matt on most of his issues as i also face similar problems.
Do you honestly think that GW is going to listen to this guy?
The Wolf time is upon us!
Rep for the Rep God! Positive for the Positive Throne!
Armies: Space Wolves, Imperial Guard, Emperors Children, Necrons, Eldar
I posted it on my Facebook. Again it probably won't do anything but hopefully they will at least listen.
I agree with Watchwood also, for me its not a case that GW will listen to this guy, i see it as more of a case that we, (the wargamers), are having someone in a better position voiceing our opinions. GW dont like competition and while i can understand that from a business point of view alot of us also play other games, eg Privateer Press, Flames of War etc. I fear it will also be to late before they take notice.
Ive been playing for 5 years, and like all of us have invested 1000's of dollars, and now euros into the game. I love GW products, everything from the models to the games to the books, to the quality they maintain in their paints etc, however, the constant costs are getting higher, i may have to soon give up the hobby that i love.
This is the issue that i have, that GW are indirectly pushing me away from their product, even though i am there ready and willing to pay for it.
IMHO if GW stop selling to stores like miniwargaming & independent stores that arent GW, it will be the death of them.
I just think that everyone wouldnt just flame GW, and instead, politely and constructively tell them that we (the gamers, hobby enthusiasts) love their products and would love to keep supporting their business as long as they stop making it harder for us to do so it could make a difference for us all.
Thanks to those of you so far who have passed the video on
double post, sorry

As I only play 40K, I haven't looked much at other games and products. I did last night, however, go to the Privateer Press site and checked out the War Machine range to see what it was all about. After looking at the prices in the PP store I'm not sure why people are gripping so much about the price increase from GW (granted like most folks I don't like paying more for the same models I paid less for last year but to be honest there is not that much I really need still.). From what I could tell just spot checking, the War Machine models seemed to be more expensive than the GW models (even after the price increase). Is there something I'm missing here from my lack of experience with War Machine and Privateer Press?
