Vulkan He'stan (techincally, he was an ex-captain)
jus a simple poll, curious to know which captain/chapter master from CM is liked by people, so no characters like Cassius (chaplain), Tigurius (Libarian) etc.
and no captains/masters from other SM books (SW, BT etc.)
oops, typo... Codex: Space Marines, not CM...apologies
I'm not sure if you're talking about fluff or rules. I always liked the intergalactic quester, the guy with a geas to discover the lost treasures of the chapter, a lone traveler among the stars. He was the man that traded his kingdom for a horse, forgoing fame and glory and brotherhood for loftier ideals. A man that was presented a challenge by the primarch himself, and stood to meet said challenge.
Then I found out his rules were total cheese and it was laughing all the way to the bank.
Shrike with Pedro as a close second. I love the tricks you can do when your marines are Fleet and one (any) infantry unit can Outflank...
Pedro, on the other hand, is a more concervative, but very solid choice for shooty armies.
Revenant Moon Necrons: (W/L/D) 0/1/0 (6th edition: 13/2/2)(5th edition: 14/6/4)(3rd edition Codex: 16/4/7)
XIX Legion: (W/L/D) 0/0/0 (5th edition: 14/12/2)(5th edition Codex: 4/3/0)
Black Legion: (W/L/D) 1/0/0 (6th edition: 2/3/0)
Something Wicked... Reikwald Beastmen: (W/L/D) 10/4/1
Khan for sure, I love his fluff, and he has a bike with fleet, how awesome!
Though it doesn't work that good and it's expensive, such a shame
Pedro is my favourite out of the ones listed - he's not even close to being my favourite overall, though.
I use Pedro in my DIY chapter "The Iron Crusaders". I love Sternguard and making them scoring is that much better. The bonus attack he gives is also good.
I voted Kantor, with Shrike as a close second. His model's cool looking, and his rules are pretty good too. Still, Shrike is 100% badass.
Formerly known as SimulatedSnowman
Sicarius with Shrike a close second, love the rules and fluff for both models but Sicarius has it in the fact he is a much more lethal killing machine.
