I don't see any "legal" issues with the army, however I think that your composition isn't the best if you are aiming for a very mobile army. With BA the two most popular "really mobile army" builds I've seen are either lots of assault squads deploying with Decent of Angels (DoA), or lots of 6-man assault squads in razorbacks with twin-linked lascannons.

That being said, there's no reason why other army compositions couldn't work. Before critiquing your list it would be useful to have further information about which squads you want to deploy in which transport, and the basic tactics that you want to use.

Just as an aside - I think most people who take Sanguinor take him with an honor guard or sanguinary guard, but its probably better to let a more experienced BA player comment on this...

    Thank you!
    Haha, you're welcome.

So would you be putting your two tactical squads in the rhinos, death company squad in the stormraven and the DC dreadnought in the drop pod? Because you also have the option of putting a squad and the dreadnought in the stormraven and dropping the drop pod for something else. I'd say your list is very short on anti-tank, with missile launchers spread amongst pretty much every squad... maybe consider taking a dev. squad with 4x missile launchers or taking melta guns in your tactical squads and the assault squad. Also, your vehicles probably don't need to be upgraded as thoroughly as they are, which could again free up some more points for anti-tank. Maybe a predator? Or another stormraver?

Your points are off here. Remember a base Death company only has 3 members not 5 like most squads. I think thats where your going wrong. A 6man death company cost 120 points without upgrades.

Also why all the locator beacons? With DoA your assault squad and sanguinor will be fairly reliable without them, and droppods are usually safe on their own. The only reason I'd have locator beacons everywhere is if I had a couple of squads of terminator in reserve. If your thinking of Deep Striking your Stormraven just remember its occupants can't assault the turn it arrives so you may want to experiment with having it come on the board from rerve normally then flying flat out to get a 4++

I do like your list however. Well done on not taking spam. You'll prob do quite well in objective missions.

I thought I was a little off somewhere, also what would you think of taking a devastator squad instead of one tactical, as the guy above suggested?

Devastators are ace. They're obviously good at poping tanks but they really come into their own (in my experience) when taking out MC's like Demon Princes, Avatars, and Wraithlords. For pure anti-tank you should add melta's to your assault squad as well as taking the dev. If you haven't modelled the assault sergeant with the shield might consider giving him a powerfist.

So short answer to your question yes devastators are cool. (I like them fluffwise because unlike other chapters only experienced BA are allowed to be devastators, because they can be trusted not to charge the enemy)

Melta Guns....I will definitely give those a shot, and thanks for helping me plan out my list, I'm surprised I made a decent one my first try.
