    FAQ is up

    I have a question:

    "Burst Cannons, Star cannons, and all Tau pulse weapons are plasma weapons" for the purposes of the Plasma Syphon. While I found the plasma syphon on the correct page as located on the FAQ, I cannot find any unit that has the option of getting a Plasma Syphon. Someone help me out here?

    I believe it is for the Xenos Inquisitor... dont quote me on that, as I dont have my book in front of me at the moment

    It is. That, which combined with the fact that it only affects things shooting from inside rapid fire range, makes it not worth considering tactically.

    the point cost is pretty cheap for effecting nulling all plasmas at a full 12" radius around the inquisitor.
    I'd say it's good against Tau, CSM and SM, which is a good 50% of all games?

    The only time I would ever recommend using it would be: If you attach the Xeno =][= to Mordraks unit and deepstrike them into the heart of a tau army. Most armies will have units capable of neutralising the =][= before he/she gets too close.

    Erm...there is a more up to date FAQ. Your link goes to version 1.0, but they are now up to 1.1

    Doesn't nullify anything said above about the plasma syphon, but just thought I'd mention it.
