Because Orks like to kill everything? They don't need reasons to fight really.
There more than likely just ignoring them while they kill everyone else and then they'll kill all the Fists

you could pull a matt ward and do as the blood angels and necrons did in the face of a tyranid threat.

ie, your crimson fists and his orks could have been bitter rivals frantically fighting each other, but then when the other army showed up, the two of you teamed up to kick ass. afterwards, your armies peacefully part ways into the sunset, best friends forever *fist-bump*.

Hey, we don't like it either! Dam'it Ward!!!-The Necrons

Stop complaining both of you! He had the Grey Knights tare us open and use us AS FACE PAINTS! Someone, please, keep him away from our new codex. We'd rather stick with the WD insert.- The Sisters of Battle

OK, back on topic. It's perfectly plausible that the Crimson Fists might focus their attention on the greater threat, choosing to leave less imediate problems for later. Also, probably hoping that if they stay out of the Orks way the foolish greenskins can be used to their benifit, opening up a second line against the enemy.

From the Orky point of view it would be something like- "Dem stinkin humies iz no fun! Theyz too weak ta fite proper. Me und the boyz Ill go krump theze ota gitz first. Den we'll go mash the humies later"
