    A good hydra proxy?

I recently discovered this unique tank that I thought I would share. Its the m50 Ontos. I believe it would make a good proxy model for the hydra. What do you all think?

Scale looks good too, an inch or so shorter than a Chimera but overall fairly similar.

Obviously it wouldn't fly in official tournaments, but if you were playing a friendly game against me, I'd have no problem with it.

that looks good. the only problem is , i can find it on their website, could you post a link? or just tell me ho to get there?

also, whenever popke post proxies, people say 'not for tournaments, but good for friendlies'.
this might sound odd, but why exactly is there some sort of rules pack i am missing? do GW not allow proxies? of any kind?

Most official tournaments disallow non-GW models and require all models to be made up of atleast 50% GW bits.
But if you just stick to local Flag store tournaments you are probably fine.

Looks alright, though as others have said not in official tournaments and not in local stores. Also you could just use a chimera and the AA gun from the bastion.

In the USA, this isn't a problem. GW hardly runs any events of it's own anymore, and all of the good ones are independent anyhow. The only issue I'd see is if you wanted to play in an actual GW shop.
